Worked great in my DEWALT 10 gallon vacuum. This physical mantra for every action equals the opposite reaction applies to these DEWALT two-stage vacuum cleaners. I've had all sorts of shop vacuums, but I've never seen anything quite like DEWALT. It's almost like having a fan in front of a vacuum cleaner. The first time I noticed this was when I was standing in my shop with the vacuum cleaner in front of the table I was working at and suddenly I realized that the paper, the sawdust, had swept everything off the table. The next time I noticed that as I vacuumed the leaf rock on one side, I was blowing the dust away like leaves on the other side. This diffuser helps a lot, but while this vacuum is rising so well, there has to be this "counterplay".
