Review on Feyachi Rapid Transition Picatinny Rail Mounted 45 Degree Front And Rear Backup Iron Sights by Carl Lee

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Big, bulky - and most importantly a very loose rear sight

My first complaint with these sights is that they are very large and surprisingly heavy for aluminum - there is a considerable amount of unnecessary and additional material, further machining could make this entire unit at least 30% smaller(and lighter). But, that issue alone would bring this product to 4 stars in my opinion, as that was my fault - after all, the product I received does match the pictures and a weight is listed. The real reason I gave this 2 stars is because there is a noticeable wobble of the rear sight - not the entire unit, the base mounts securely to a picatinny - but the adjustable section, the section that houses the rear sight aperture moves side to side with only a light touch.I will keep these and put them on one of my range toys - they are cheap and of a decent quality, enough so that they're useful for training on 45° iron sights. But, if you're in the market for 45° sights for competition or personal defense(as the advertisement mentions), then I would invest a little more and get something nicer.

Pros
  • Alignment: These sights are specially designed to enable easy alignment, further enhancing your accuracy when shooting
Cons
  • May be more difficult to use than other backup sight options
