Works well: paper and plastic
They held up quite well. It was much stronger and thicker than traditional paper paraphernalia. It tended to absorb moisture from food and could get wetter, but in the short term (as long as you're stuffing your face) it held up well. They're on the "sweeter" end of paper plates. I would recommend these. In addition, they are made of recyclable and compostable materials and are inexpensive because they are more environmentally friendly. I actually found the large serving bowls at Big Lots (also compostable) cheaper than Revain.
