This is a good tool, but the smooth edge leaves a lot to be desired, especially for women who don't have much strength in their hands. When you hit a strong core, it takes Schwarzenegger's fingers to push it through. The cleaning plug works well. The tubular design makes this a good solid core receiver. We have to take it to the shop and sharpen some teeth on the cutting edge, otherwise we'll have to make a core for mom. This advantage would make a big difference in the performance of this well-designed core.
