Works as described: DVI cable
I bought this for my Lenovo laptop. That works fine. However, this is a passive adapter. This means that no more connection is added to the monitor from the laptop. This works great for me because I wanted to use two large monitors. I have VGA and DisplayPort output and I don't want to spend $100 on a docking station. I can use both, but the laptop LCD had to be disabled, which is fine with me as I don't need the laptop's small built-in LCD.
