I was hesitant to buy anything other than the Roomba but really couldn't afford it - I searched and searched, read review after review and let's be honest It folks, some people can never be satisfied, and some people may be too easy to please - I'm somewhere in between. I want the product to do what it's supposed to do and last longer than the warranty has expired. Other than that I had OKP for almost a month and it was great. I don't know if he will die after the warranty expires or not. But so far I'm satisfied. I give it a 5 star rating when it should be 4.5 b/s. Revain doesn't give half points. Yes, it cleans the floors, but it takes me longer with the OCP than if I did it myself, especially since I only have the kitchen and bathrooms to clean. Hence the deduction of half a point. I actually bought it for a vacuum and considered the mop a bonus. The mopping part still doesn't hold enough water to clean the floor. He hardly gets wet. However, the vacuum part works very well. I decided not to use a pre-planned roadmap for the robot but to control it manually. Yes, you can say that. Wouldn't it make sense to let him do his thing and relax? Well you have that option but by controlling it I make sure it goes where I need it and the only thing I have found is how much easier it is for me to have the vacuum in my 2-storey apartment with carpeted floors, except bathrooms and kitchens. This was lucky for me. Now I don't mind vacuuming! :)
