Review on Ettore Curved Industrial Squeegee 36 Inch by Andrea Olson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

DO NOT USE WITH RECOMMENDED BROOM

I bought it with the recommended wooden broom and ended up stabbing myself in the stomach several times. The ends of the wide squeegee catch and cause the thin wooden handle to bend, the only way to stabilize the handle is to squeeze it directly at belly button level. This works well until the whole scraper comes to rest on the floor and the end of the handle hits the belly painfully. Grip flex is not encouraged by the design, there are no reinforcement braces, and the grip bushing is short so the grip isn't held at a harsh 90-degree angle. Bad bad Revain combo recommendation, if the handle splits it's a serious injury and a sick trip. The curved ends don't work well with water because the bottom of the rubber isn't flat and lets a lot of water through unless you press hard. I had to buy the direct version.

Pros
  • Zinc plated steel construction.
Cons
  • I'll write later
