Review on πŸ“Ί High-Quality 100ft Black RG6 Coaxial Cable with Connectors - Perfect for TV, Antenna, and Satellite Signals by John Chembola

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have my second TV with this coax and a signal splitter

I cut the cable and put the antenna on the roof. The problem is I have 2 TVs and one was hooked up to an antenna and the other to one of those flat plastic antennas that are about 8ft coax so you can drag it around to find the best reception. It was like stepping into the future trying to get good reception with that plastic antenna. I connected it to an old coax cable that ran under the basement of the house for my main TV. Then it dawned on me: All I needed was a signal splitter and 30 feet of coax cable, and I could hook it up to a second TV. I don't know why I didn't think of that many years ago. I didn't bother running the coax under the floor, I just installed a signal splitter and ran the coax to the kitchen where my second TV is. It works like a charm and the coaxial cable is barely noticeable. I kept watching the Wire Guys ad about running coaxial cable from a rooftop antenna and eventually realized that all I needed was 30 feet of cable and a signal splitter to do what I wanted. ensure TV reception in my kitchen.
