Not Recommended for Canon EOS Rebel SL2 Camera

I was keen to try this grip because I thought it would be the best way to make sure I didn't drop the camera. With a lanyard, I often take it off my neck when trying to take a picture because it's more convenient for me. The reason I don't recommend this for the SL2 is that there is a tiny protrusion that is used to go against the base of your camera for stability but blocks my LCD screen. I was left with two options: either close my LCD over the edge and risk breaking the LCD, or close the LCD and then tighten the base so the edge fits into the slot used to open the LCD, eh opening the LCD stands in my way. I've attached an image to show the protrusion and how it interferes with my screen. In this picture I covered the LCD and then put the base on and you can see the protrusion slide into the part of the screen you use to open the LCD. I haven't actually used the pen, but it was nice. my hand before realizing it was interfering with my LCD. If you have a camera with an LCD that won't open and lock, this should work for you. If you have a flip-up screen, pay close attention to where the tab rests on the base of your camera. I gave 3 stars because I didn't want to rate the manufacturer too low just because it doesn't work on my model. Camera but love what they tried here with the way it wraps around your wrist. There should probably be something in the description that would alert people to the possibility of encountering the problem I was having.
