Definitely works better than expected. My technique is to wet the stone and rub it thoroughly under each hand while slowly counting to 10. With that little effort, I don't smell at all all day long. used to if dry sticks were used previously. Comes with a stupid plastic plate. One of the reasons I chose this product is to reduce plastic waste like the endless plastic deodorant stick so it's still a lot better but they didn't have to include it.
