The product is so good that I ordered it twice. Overall this is a very strong and thick metal and it seems all the components will last a lifetime. The screw mechanism is where similar products can fail, but this one is built to last; It adheres very well to the underside of the surface and will not peel off on its own. If you look at one of the photos I posted you can see that there is a small indentation on the handle which I think is interfering with the rotation stop. The bolt is very rough, which at first I thought was too simple, but eventually it turned into a really efficient, zero-fault part; It's literally a fat billy threaded through a platter, with a metal head on one side and a freely rotating handle holder on the other. I was wondering if this thing would rattle when surrounded by loud bass, and it definitely doesn't (they're currently right above the 2kW subwoofer). I've moved these things a few times and every time I use them the quality of their work doesn't degrade at all. If I buy more headphones, I'll get more of these things. Don't reach for cheap plastic alternatives.
