Honestly I don't understand how I lived without these bags for so many years. We eat a lot of cheese in our family and like to have several types on hand at the same time. Invariably, one or more cheeses would start to go moldy before we'd eaten them all, and this is especially true for the big blocks of cheese that are so available at Costco. With these bags I "lost" a piece of Jarlsberg in the back of a cheese box for 4 months and when I pulled it out there wasn't a speck of mold to be seen and the cheese hadn't dried at all. . It was just as delicious as the day I put it in my bag. I've had the same success with all the cheeses I've stored in them to date - Cheddar, Jack, Gouda, Parmigiano Reggiano, Havarti, Swiss - you name it, and these bags protect your cheese investment. They're big enough to easily accommodate large blocks sold at wholesale stores or two-pound bricks sold at your local grocery store. I've been a lifelong fan of Formaticum bags and my pantry will never be without them as part of my storage arsenal.
