An ideal product for any type of consumer.

If you need to measure length, width, area in the usual way, then this laser rangefinder will be a good purchase. And if you want to measure, determine by the Pythagorean theorem, also measure depth and angle, then you should think about purchasing. (Although errors in determining heights can only be in my device)
As for the discrepancy of -3 mm, this is fixable. Calibration in this device is carried out from -7 to +7 mm.
I found the discrepancy in a test with a laser rangefinder from another manufacturer and a classic metal tape measure of not cheap quality.

Pros

The accuracy of simple measurements, almost ideal. Very compact, lightweight with strap. Has its own battery. Charging cord included. Bright display (even too much).

Cons

Definition through Pythagoras, they give errors every other time. And when it is possible to measure, then there are large discrepancies from reality, not only from real ones, but also from repeated measurements from the same place. The function is not working (possibly only in mine) Determination of length by -3 mm is not true. Another minus is the hole for the strap. Passing through it is very difficult and without a needle you will not be able to pull the end of the strap out of the hole.
