Review on πŸ”Š iFi SPDIF iPurifier: Advanced Optimizer for Digital Optical, Toslink, and Coax Audio Signals by Kris Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Buy this item now. It definitely works.

First of all I am not affiliated with the company at all and was skeptical to buy it but with Revain Prime why not try it. The reviews sounded almost too good to be true but after careful consideration I purchased this product. It just arrived today and I immediately hooked it up to my DAC's SPDIF input and without even burning it we heard a definitely good sound difference. Definitely more detail in small backgrounds and less annoying harshness in sounds in general, but without losing good detail. Things that used to annoy me like a loud bump in my voice now sound more natural. I never realized that SPDIF is actually an analog signal trying to mimic a digital one, so it makes sense. I can't detect any loss of sound. For €150 it's definitely worth a try. One of the reasons I got this thing is to resync and clear the SPDIF signal from my Oppo 103. Oppo's current universal player resyncs the SPDIF signal, but I can buy a new one for $1200. I think this little thing does about the same or even more for $150. I am considering buying new speakers. Not yet (at least not yet!).
