I bought regular sized car wash mitts and washed my car with them and Meguiar Car Wash. I'm a male with an average hand size, and the average size fit me well. If they were much bigger, they could flop onto my hands. The first thing I noticed is that with the sheer surface, these mittens absorb a lot of soapy water. Another thing I noticed was that the viewfinders really grab the dirt on your car, making it easier to maintain. Even those little black spots went away with a little extra effort. Not sure how long they will last but after a good wash the one I used is still like new. I think I'll get a lot of good two pack car washes.
