This was my second attempt at using one of those inexpensive mass produced turntables with a USB connection. While I can confirm that both performed the intended USB output transfer function of capturing tapes and converting to digital files, playback was interrupted on both devices. This one in particular only played backwards correctly most of the time, and again, like my original reshow or any other brand, it suffered from occasional slowdowns. Even if it is powered by a DC power source and not batteries. I cannot recommend these devices at all. Yes, they're cheap, and I'm sure some of the devices perform excellently given the reviews they all have (assuming they haven't been artificially boosted with fake accounts), but both of my experiences have been completely unsatisfactory.
