Much cuter than the wire cage, and kids love it

Like. almost all! I love the look of this wooden crate compared to the wire crates. I think you would rather speak of a high-end cage. We use it for our guinea pigs. I've been looking for a "nice" cage for her for a long time. We have them in our living room and I just didn't like how the wire cage looked. We used the Midwest Guinea habitat. There were no problems with this. But it just took up so much space and just didn't look that great. This cage is by no means small. There are two levels. What our guineas like. They don't always get along. That's why they like their own separate space. Everything is made of wood except for the bottom of the cage. this is metal The bottom slides out so I can clean it. I just put in a puppy pee pad and then some scraps of paper. So no wire floor to hurt your feet. The compartment that you can pull out is about an inch deep. That way, all the clutter stays inside. And there's a piece of wood on the side of the cage, maybe three inches, that keeps all that paper and trash from being thrown out of the cage when they start running around. The only thing I don't like is the wooden "door" leading downstairs. I don't know what else to call it. It has a small cut-out that they can get in and out of and that gives them a little more privacy. I actually finally uninstalled it. I think it was just cut too small and kept falling off. But they really aren't needed. This part had the ramp hooks to connect. So I just took out the hooks and attached them to the side of the top shelf and everything works great. So overall I love it and they love it so everyone is happy.

Pros
  • More care for small animals: They are cute but very fragile at the same time. Please close the door to protect the little fluffy babies when you can't keep an eye on other animals. Let the rabbit spend increasing amounts of time outside the cage under supervision. It is NOT recommended to cage small pets outdoors. They don't tolerate high temperatures and can get heatstroke, so keep them out of the sun and in a comfortable environment.
