This is a great set, great value for money and for trying out different types of brushes. I know what oils I like to use, but I'm new to acrylics. I'm good at experimenting with that. I've seen some people complain about the bristles coming loose after washing, but all you have to do is gently run your fingers from the base of the bristles to the tip of the brush and they will dry perfectly, basic brush care 101. Personally, I'm not a fan of white (wolf or goat?), some of the bristles on these brushes are really bonded, but the synthetic and brown bristles are very smooth. The packaging was outstanding (nice roll of canvas, tremendous value). Highly recommended for both beginners and experienced artists.
