These connectors are rated for 6 AWG wire and 50 amps and I believe they will work well enough for most people. I had one of the Anderson products. Also, they will not connect to Anderson due to the plastic bridge between the two pins. Cutting the jumper between the bodies of the contacts allows them to connect to the Anderson part. As with most of these clone connectors, some modifications have been made, probably to avoid patent infringement. The pins are heavy, but not as heavy as the Anderson connector. None of my crimping machines are suitable for this pin. I ran 40 amps through them for a trolling motor and there wasn't much heat build-up.
