A good lamp lasted about 7300 hours I think. Certainly not 10,000 hours as they claim.
Good lamp. I bought it on 12/07/2013. He just burned out. This is with external lighting, which averages 6 hours a day. So by my calculations it took about 7300 hours. Not 10,000 as they seem to advertise. But I don't think bad given its exposure to the heat of summer and the deadly cold of winter. Just ordered another one. At some point I will switch to LED. But right now it's easier to just swap in a different lightbulb.
