One day they just stop working and you think it's a lightbulb. It must be heat development. Once the switch began to melt. I buy these because I have a salt lamp and need a dimmer cord. Everything is made in China, so there is no point in looking for another brand. They work great until they stop. But if they stop, they become a fire hazard, so never leave them on when you go outside. I never even had 1 last a year. I've seen from my previous Revain purchases that I just bought 1 of these in October. So it hasn't even lasted a year like it's May 21st now.
