So I read other reviews and really thought 6mm would be enough for my needs. I was wrong, they are too small. I absolutely need the 9mm version. The 6 mm size is not suitable for satin cords with a diameter of 2 mm. So this part is on me. However, if it was just a size issue, I would give the product a better rating. They are not only too small, but also very poorly made. The metal is so thin it's almost like aluminum foil. It takes almost no pressure to close them and so they don't hold up very well at the ends.
