As the Skylink networks were shut down, the CDMA Domolink service was discontinued at the dacha that belonged to grandma. Everyone was provided with GSM-sim cards and new devices, such as fixed mobile phones, with the number saved on them. Previously, CDMA-sim cards had been used. Earlier on in the country, I had a CDMA gateway (also made by Huawei), to which three handsets of a radiotelephone were connected. This eliminated the need for my grandparents to search for the phone while they were in other parts of the house, such as the kitchen or the room. As this gateway is no longer useful, I had to climb to a higher one to select a new one. When I first went shopping for a GSM gateway, I looked at a few different versions made by a "domestic manufacturer." On the other hand, these devices did not support 3G, and I planned to insert a Tele2 SIM card into the gateway. The investigation resulted to this apparatus, which, in broad terms, does not have the primary gateway role. There was some skepticism over the possibility of everything getting off to a good start. The concerns were unwarranted; everything is operating as it should. The connection is reliable, there is no interference, and the radio handsets can identify the caller's number when it comes in. Here are a few pointers: 1. If you want to use this device with a phone and your base was previously connected to an analog telephone network, then you will need to change the dialing mode in the settings to tone before you will be able to make calls. If you do not make this change, you will not be able to use this device with a phone (reception will still work) 2. It has been mentioned in the reviews that purchasing this product with an Amazon operator contract will result in a lower overall price (thank you, kind person). But, it will only function with Amazon SIM cards; in other words, you will be able to cancel your current plan and replace your SIM card with an Amazon "voice" SIM card. 3. The device can be unlocked for use with any carrier if you decide that you have had enough of Amazon for whatever reason. ATTENTION! You will not be able to unlock the case on newer models of the gadget, and at this point practically all of them are brand new and available for purchase, unless you first disassemble the case. There is nothing particularly difficult about this, but the possibility of voiding the warranty exists. For individuals who do not have experience in flashing and other "dances with a tambourine," I would recommend that they not be greedy and instead purchase the standard (non-operator) version of the product instead.
