I swim about an hour a day. This shampoo removes chlorine well, my hair is still in great condition. However, it does not dissolve. My hair, longest, is styled just above my shoulders and in layers around my face. If I want to blow dry my hair after bathing, I have to use a separate detangling conditioner. This isn't the case when I use pert sometimes. But for chlorine removal I think it does the trick. UPDATE: After using a few bottles of this product I have switched back to UltraSwim UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 fl oz (207 ml) as it is available at my local Safeway store and the difference is noticeable. After using UltraSwim I feel like residue is left on my hair. I'll be back for summer solutions.
