Internal Components Update Summary

This has to be our favorite strip of light. Not only do they sync perfectly with the GiM controllers, but they also work great with the SXDOOL fan/controller, as in the last three photos we've attached. Almost any 6-pin fan and 4-pin LED controller should work with it. They're also designed to sync the motherboard, but we prefer to use controllers. So far none of the multiple light bars we've received from Revain have failed and they really put on a light show. First, we installed a system with SXDOOL fans (there are many fans from this company). Your controller is built the same as the GiM controllers - two 4-pin connectors on one end for light strips. Then another system was created with fans of a unique design and a similar controller. (Photo attached), both fan systems work perfectly with these light strips. When we say 4 pins for a controller we are not talking about a 12 volt 4 pin connection. But it's a 5V 3-pin designed only with an extra 4-pin for the controller. We didn't try to sync the motherboard to them, but on other occasions with Asus Aura, now Armory Crate, we couldn't use that software for any lighting other than the motherboard itself. Just to add a note here, we never had a single light strip out of the 14 we bought that didn't light up in the first part of the strip. You'll need a controller to do this, otherwise adjust Aura Sync or Armory Crate for the number of LEDs per panel. I know that Aura Sync only lights up half of the LED toys you can buy. Sometimes he doesn't know what RGB or GRB etc means. These light bars are ARGB. We highly recommend using a controller to run them, GiM, Cool Moon, SXDOOL or another to see if the light bar is ok, and then you can take it from there with a motherboard program. Also, some of these controllers are designed so that you can sync them to the motherboard with a special cable. We have never tried that. But as mentioned, we've never had a problem with these light bars. We actually started buying them when they first came out and had little or no reviews for them.

Pros
  • It can be synchronized with all GIM RGB case fans.
Cons
  • too boring
