After seeing a picture of all the plastic in the oceans and a poor turtle with a plastic straw up its nose, I knew I couldn't just could continue to ignore the problem. I started by asking "No straw please" every time I ordered a drink. Sometimes it worked, but not always. Part of Bob's fun is sucking fish eyes through a straw. Driving with soda was easier with a straw. I also prefer to drink cocktails through a straw. For all these reasons I was happy when I found these straws! 2 large straws for beans and cocktails and 6 more in beautiful colors. I've tried bamboo straws (difficult to clean) and glass straws (easy to break), these stainless steel straws are perfect and the tips available are great too.
