I needed something to help me breathe better at night (congested sinuses and nose) and after a little research I thought an ionizing fan might be what you need. Help. I bought this smaller one because I didn't want to spend a lot of money just in case such a fan wouldn't make a difference. After using it at night for 3 days, it finally dawned on me that I had slept the whole night without tossing and waking up constantly trying to get comfortable! My energy exceeded my expectations thanks to a good night's sleep. I don't know if this fan works the same for other people, but I had a wonderful result. The only thing that annoys me a bit initially is how noisy the fan is at high speed (I have it right on my bedside table near my head), so I usually keep it at a lower speed. which is much quieter. It still works great even at lower speeds. Sometimes I run faster when I'm feeling more stuffed than usual. It's also small enough to take with me when traveling. I have already recommended it to others.
