I have several mid to high-end Nikon DSLRs. I wanted something more compact that I could take with me for everyday snaps when traveling and something that I could use to teach my wife and daughter more about photography. This camera has so many features that it can be difficult to remember them all. It has most of the features you'll find in top-of-the-line DSLRs, such as B. shutter and aperture priority, as well as a variety of other functions. We haven't bought or attempted to switch lenses yet, but the collar mechanism feels as solid as other Nikon builds.
