You can squeeze every drop of juice out of yourself, but you have to make an effort, so it's not the best choice for someone older. I love that it comes with a good supply of mesh pouches. You don't need them, lemon and orange pits and most of the pulp are left on the filter for disposal, but they'll probably come in handy for blackberry pits and the like. Everything is very easy to clean. I would have liked to have had an anti slip strip at the bottom front but I think I can add that myself.
