The eufy robo vacuum came out of the box and started working right away! The only downside is that it doesn't leave brush marks on the carpet pile, but it's worth the money spent on this vacuum. The first few times it needed cleaning halfway through. However, I no longer have to clean it, but once every 2 days. Eufy is very quiet compared to our handheld vacuum. Animals (3 dogs and a cat) are curious or afraid of it. The cat had to learn not to attack the front frizzy brushes. We run it at night after the animals have been laid down for the night and all the toys and cords have been collected. It turns itself on at 9pm every night and does its job. eufy can freeze and needs a little attention every now and then, but for the most part it works fine and my floors are pretty clean! This saved me as I can no longer push the upright vacuum cleaner (I am disabled).
