A loud cracking sound was heard in the house. My wife and I rushed to see what had happened. Opened up the bathroom to find this. Our two vases and our homemade blown glass display collapsed, the toilet tank lid shattered and…well, the photos explain the rest of the damage very well. hole for the screw. The only items on the shelf were two vases, each weighing less than 4 pounds, and a small blown glass sphere, probably weighing no more than 3 pounds. So weight shouldn't be a problem. My wife and I spent the next two hours cleaning everything and making sure there was no broken glass on the floor. We can buy vases again, but the blown ball is indispensable. Will return a broken shelf and get something more durable.
