I kept the 38 because it fits better than the 36. The 38 was also hard leather and thick leather. Model 36 was made of thin leather and looked like it was made out of pieces of leather that looked like MDF boards. It looks just like the pictures but I was glad the quality matched better. I would be more careful when buying. As for durability, it shows I've only worn it a couple of times.
