This Oreck commercial carpet brush looks great when you first unpack and assemble it. The performance was disappointing. It sticks fairly well to bare floors and VERY LOW pile carpets. Its brush roller is too low for a medium-pile carpet and practically stands still. It also comes with a separate brush roll for picking up pet hair; This ice rink is also too low off the ground. The battery does not appear to be holding a charge. I checked every place I could think of and no one [including OreckCommercial.com and various online vacuum cleaner parts manufacturers] could tell me prices or availability of replacement belts or batteries for this sweeper. If you're happy with a fairly expensive cordless carpet sweeper that only cleans bare floors and VERY low-pile carpets, and you don't mind the unavailability of spare batteries, belts, and other parts, then this is the sweeper for you .
