I love this sunshade. This will be my new daily sunscreen, which I will wear under makeup or alone (I prefer wearing makeup most days). To be honest, I think anyone complaining about this doesn't understand why zinc oxide works differently than chemical sunscreens. MUCH better for your skin. Yes, it leaves a slight white sheen (that's because of the zinc), and no, it doesn't dry out because zinc is a heavier mineral that stays on the skin rather than being absorbed. like chemical sunscreen, it just won't happen. Apply, let dry for about 15 minutes, use a primer (if you're using foundation or BB cream) and set with powder as usual. Your foundation will cover a light shade of white. At the end of a 12-hour work day, my makeup looks just perfect. Just set it with powder like you should and all that weird, waxy sunscreen feel is gone. If you want your skin to look younger for longer, zinc oxide sunscreen really is the only way. Cannot reach price or protection. *UPDATE* I've been playing with this under makeup for a while now. I have found that besides being an excellent sunscreen, this sunscreen is actually a fantastic primer! I use Maybelline's matte non-porous foundation and blend it with a beauty blender. Works just as well as the Maybelline Blur Primer used previously.
