I just LOVE these scissors; they simplify machine application considerably. No more cutting back fabric when trimming designs. They're a bit bulky for me sometimes, but only because my machine doesn't have a big shackle. They come in smaller sizes (4 inches I think) and I would recommend them if your machine has a smaller hoop - for example 4 inches x 4 inches.
