addendum: the antenna has been in the car for about two weeks. The signal was not as strong as originally thought. When driving in the city, the reception is significantly weakened. Maybe try a short antenna and see how it works. The shark fin isn't particularly impressive, although it looks really nice. Ease of installation. The included accessories fit perfectly. The shark fin looks great and the glossy finish matches the black roof of the Jeep Compass. Near our house, the antenna receives a clearer signal than in our other cars with full-size antennas.
