Solvent-free fabric protector

Was pretty easy to use. Some of the reviews I've read don't make much sense. That means: water repellency is not a waterproofing, if you want "waterproof for your sofa fabric, buy plastic covers" and UV protection does not prevent fading in direct sunlight. Woven fabrics that are exposed to direct sunlight suffer because their colors are made from chemical dyes that were not designed for the task. I used this treatment on about 10 yards of Dutch cotton tie-dye. The textiles were well finished and the colors richly pigmented. I know enough about materials not to leave fabrics in direct sunlight for long periods of time. My project was mostly in the shade and was in direct sunlight for several hours, but has been rained on several times and incredibly shows no signs of wear. The colors are still rich. Buy better products and handle them properly with Bayes fabric protection.
