I've tried Mason Pearson brushes, square brushes, brushes of all sizes and brushes that look like the Ergo Professional round ionic ceramic brush. This brush is amazing! It keeps your hair in the comb without tangling, the grip makes it so easy to curl that you'll end up with a curl. I'm not a hair stylist and I'm not good at blow drying my hair but if I actually take the time to style my hair and style it into sections and then curl it with a brush, I get asked all the time , where I went to blow my hair. Outside. I have every size Ergo Professional Round Ionic Ceramic Brush. I have medium hair. I use the largest nozzle for loose curls, the medium for tighter curls and the smallest for bangs. The brush is expensive but worth the money. My barber said to replace it after 5-6 months as each comb wears out the heat of the hair dryer. As soon as you see that your hair doesn't curl as well as it used to, replace it. Don't give it a time frame, just use your best judgment.
