My Lenove 340 charger died a few weeks ago so I had to buy a replacement. First I tried the block with retractable pins but it never made a proper connection to the power outlet and made an intermittent connection with occasional sparks. Poorly! I replaced it with a second one of the same type - and it was fine at first, but after a few days it also started to connect intermittently, so I knew it was time to get a fixed-pin device. It was a choice and so far it seems great. Good connection, no problems and the battery even seems to charge faster than the original.
