When I received it it looked too big for a newborn but I'm glad I kept it. My child weighed 8 kg. and it was perfect for her hospital admissions. First wrap the baby in a small blanket, and then put on a cocoon. You can also use a cocoon to prevent the diaper from coming loose. The hat was stretchy and actually held up better than hospital hats. The only reason I deducted a star is that the price of the product I received is a bit high.
