dead SCOBY; Long live SCOBY
I'm a longtime brewer. It's been a year since I last brewed due to moving etc. I love the starter kit but it took 2 weeks from ordering to receiving and my SCOBY died; The pH stays at 6 after 2 weeks in the aquarium. I just want a replacement SCOBY and Revane says I have to return the entire purchase? Shall I return a full gallon of sweet tea with Dead SCOBY in tow? I don't think it makes much sense.
