I have two farm collies that shed a lot twice a year and I was hoping this would improve performance and help keep my vacuum clean. It clogs up fairly quickly and then it takes about 5 minutes to remove all hair from all three brushes before you can proceed... I wasn't expecting such a thorough cleaning. It's not made for that and you shouldn't expect it. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations. Maybe there's no real solution for people with severe dandruff...sigh
