Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Performance Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly by Timken HA599361 by Kenji Townsend

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far, so good! best in heavy axles and parts

Update 1/6/2021: These hubs are still working with no signs of failure anytime soon. I've ridden it over 73,000 miles since my original rating. If they still produce them with the same quality, I recommend them! This type of product is difficult to consider. You really can't know if it's any good until it fails, and well, only time will tell. But what I can say is this: It's been about three months since I installed them on the front of my 2001 Dodge Durango and so far so good. I believe if there was a major flaw in these hubs it would have revealed itself by now and they seem great! Spring. There was no rust on it when received, which I think is probably a good sign of a decent manufacturing process (although I don't think that can mean anything). Corners are saved in the manufacture of these hubs. They actually look better than the original bushings I removed from the Durango while also being a perfect replacement for the old ones. Also, I did quite a bit of research before purchasing these jacks and concluded that they offer the best value for money. SKF are probably the best hubs you can buy for this application, but they are way too expensive for an older, high mileage car. Many other well-known manufacturers seem to be products from China and I have not found much positive information about these models. Despite being significantly cheaper, you get what you pay for. But Timken has always had a good reputation and based on personal experience with other bearings they make I was pleased to choose these wheel bearing hub assemblies from them. The price was also reasonable for a seemingly solid product. After all, the only way I'll know if they're good is: install and drive them, and so far they're good. problems are excluded. This is one of those reviews that I'll have to update over time and comment on if it holds up, but to be honest I don't expect any problems from these hubs at all.
