This feels like high quality metal, not cheesy plastic. We wanted brushed nickel to match what currently exists in our bathroom and this is perfect.We wanted a place to hang our wet hand towels within the shower, so that they could dry but not drip on the floor. Since our shower is tiled, we also did not want to drill or otherwise damage the tile.We had used some self-adhesive fake plastic hangers for towels that we got from a big box hardware store. Those worked, looked a bit cheesy and the towels didn't dry well.So we looked for a bar that would allow the towels to dry out.This works well as long as you can place it on the tile and not the grout. The towel rack itself is two pieces that screw together that feel like they were quality machined. Insert into the brackets, center and level, then remove the adhesive and attach. We used light pencil marks for the centering and the locations.Instructions say to let it stay for 12 hours before using.
