I always thought most charging cables were interchangeable. That there were few differences between them and advertising was ineffective. I usually use ANKER cables and chargers, but thought I'd get a flyer on this ICSEIO USB-A to USB-C cable since it costs a little less money than ANKER and is three meters long. These cables worked great for my phone, but it's a different story when I tried them with a FIRE tablet. I connected my Fire tablet to the cable and shortly after, I received the warning "You have water in the charging port" from the FIRE tablet. Strange, I thought. I didn't think my fire was anywhere near the water. I shook the FIRE and followed all the directions to dry it. Still no luck. I moved to a different room and tried a different ICSEIO cable. Same result when my FIRE indicates there is water in port. I contacted Revain and they replaced my FIRE HD10 tablet. Then I took my new FIRE out of the box, plugged it into an old Revain cable and charged it. I moved to another room, hooked up FIRE to the ICSEIO cable and immediately got the "Water in your port" warning again. There was no way I could have water in my FIRE connector as it was fresh out of the box. Problem with ICSEIO cables. THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE FIRE HD 10 TABLET. In the end, this cable cost me a lot of time and effort and Revain had to spend money to replace my Fire. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT FOR USE WITH THE AMAZON FIRE TABLET.
