We bought this for our grandson who we see a few days a week. He is 13 months old and totally excited! It's lighter than I expected...how light! We just put it on the coffee table or on the sofa and it does a great job. If he were older I don't think that would be a problem at all, and he probably wouldn't necessarily need to support anything from behind. Our grandson also just started walking a little less than a month ago but he's still doing io 3 right and loving it. It's a lot bigger than most other similar chairs these days based on what we've seen in stores and other similar chairs at Revain. He is so damn soft that he also likes to throw himself at him 😂
