Perfect? No not true. Will it hold my $1,100 monitor without fear of falling? Yes. Once you set it up properly and tilt it, you'll almost never move it again unless you move it away. In this case, being able to get the screen out of the way is a brilliant plus for a monitor setup. If you can install your monitors, do so. I can't believe I didn't do this many years ago. The table looks much tidier and has a lot more space. The mount seems to snicker a little when you touch it, which is very frustrating, especially when you have multiple monitors lined up and want all the stands to do their little dance. I got around this by putting small pieces of double sided tape in between and behind the screens to allow them to hold on after assembly. On my first note, I believe this will keep the price relatively high if the hardware; If you put it in a bobby pin, you can use it to pull yourself up. The weight estimate is a suggestion, but if you're close to it with your screen I wouldn't worry too much. The only thing that can suffer is that the height adjustment will likely want to give way.
