ADVANTAGES: o Looks very solid. o I like the seat tray. CONS: o The shelf is VERY shallow, about 1.5 inches deep. Overall this is a very good shoe rack/bench. We got together relatively quickly, everything is coordinated and there is no equipment missing. I really didn't realize how shallow the storage space under the seat is. It's so flat that a pair of heavy, insulated gloves can barely fit. But overall I like the idea and execution. I have a similar product made out of plastic and although the storage space is deeper the bamboo that makes up this product looks much nicer. I suspect the plastic version will hold up better in the long run due to its inherent water/moisture impermeability.
