My father has esophageal cancer and had to put in a feeding tube. He only complains about the tube feeding taking too long and only drinks 2 times a day (twice together twice a day) because God forbid he might miss smoking a cigarette or watching a game on TV. I was hoping that if I bought this he would do the recommended amount (5) and one every 2 hours which would be much better for him and maybe give him some energy. Thought that way he could still watch TV and smoke his damn cigarettes and stop whining that using a feeding tube was taking too long. Well he said it works great but he still eats 2 meals a day because he refuses to do anything that really helps him. Bought so he can take it to the living room and even the patio but he still only eats in the kitchen so he still doesn't eat anymore which would help him a lot. Bottom line, great for those on a feeding tube as long as they're not too damn stubborn.
