Review on MICHELIN Latitude Tour HP 215/65 R16 98H summer by Micha Bukowski (Pax) ᠌

The product is really good, I'm glad I bought it.

Departure on these tires (Honda CR-V III, manual gearbox), spanning almost 60,000 kilometers (from Hong Kong to the Black Sea and all the way to the Urals). Used practically down to nothing. There were never any holes (!) that were punctured. When traveling for a long distance, a loaded car using quality gasoline will get seven to eight miles per gallon, depending on the driving style and the maximum speed restriction. After the wear of this rubber, I was considering switching to the ContiPremiumContact-5 (-2) model. When I worked on other cars, I got to experience this rubber in action. However, the dimensions 225|65 R17 are not offered by Continental, so I will purchase the same ones from Michelin instead. I can not see any alternatives (both for asphalt and for this particular automobile, which is my preference).

Pros
  • On dry pavement, the handling was really nice. Resistance to hydroplaning that is adequate. Quiet. A perfect equilibrium. In the event that your tire pressure drops, you might not even be aware that such a moment has occurred, that being the strengthened sidewall.
Cons
  • When it collides with one, a "rutting" will occur. It is possible for it to be thrown out of it at speeds greater than 100–110 kilometers per hour, particularly when it is raining. Recommendations include keeping a tight grip on the steering wheel with both hands and accelerating out of the rut at a shallow angle. muck and muck do not mix well with rubber. The fact that little stones get stuck in the tread is not anything that I see as a disadvantage; rather, it is just one of the realities of this tread design (small sipes).
